AiM Remote Buttons Interface
The
AiM Remote Buttons Interface is designed to facilitate the use of the AiM Dashes and Dash Loggers when the System Bottons are difficult to opertae or obscured by the mounting position. The Remote Control Module is connected directly to the AiM CAN network and is compatible with the MXT, MXG, MXP, MXS, MXL2 and MXm. Basically it offers 6 contacts for connection to 6 different push buttons. The first four are configured to simulate the system buttons, the fifth is for switching the backlight and the sixth is for resetting the second odometer.
The
AiM Remote Buttons Interface is an interface designed for the remote control buttons to simplify the operation of the AiM dashes and dash loggers. Its function is to enable the operation of the systems when the buttons are difficult to operate: typically when the dashboard on which the system is installed is too narrow or too far from your reach.
The communication through the AiM CAN bus (MXx series, MXL2, MXm) takes place automatically as soon as the
AiM Remote Buttons Interface is connected to the EXP. of the system.
